Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trails
The Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trails, Ireland's largest trail network, are purpose-built singletrack trails and forest roads that are designed for use by mountain bikes on a waymarked circular route. There are five fantastic routes to choose from!
There are two blue grade routes (moderate), the 7km Greenwood loop and the longer 17km Mountrussell loop. For those seeking more challenging red grade routes, there three options, the 28km Tech Loop, the 35km Garrane loop and the 51km Castlepook loop. The trails take the riders through beautiful forest and open land with fantastic views over Limerick to the north and Cork to the south.
Slieve Bloom Mountain Bike Trails
The Slieve Bloom Mountain Bike Trails span counties Offaly and Laois. The Offaly trail head is Kinnitty Village and the Laois trail head is in Baunreagh.
There are three routes to choose from, one of which is blue grade, the other two are more challenging red and black grade options. The trails take riders through beautiful forests and open land with fantastic views over Baunreagh Valley and beyond. Forest road climbs lead to twisty singletrack with lots of fast descents, ups and downs, tight turns and technical rocky bits, guaranteed to leave you smiling!
Ticknock Mountain Bike Trails
Located in the Dublin Mountains, Ticknock has more than 18km of singletrack which includes 7 red trails and 3 black mountain bike trail.
The trails take the rider through beautiful forest and heathland with fantastic views over Dublin City and Bay and the Wicklow Mountains beyond. Forest road climbs lead you into tight twisty singletrack with loads of fast descents, ups and downs, tight turns and technical rocky bits, guaranteed to leave you smiling!
Ballinastoe Mountain Bike Trails
Located in County Wicklow, Ballinastoe has more than 25km of singletrack mountain bike trails.
There are three routes to choose from, one of which is blue grade, the other two are more challenging red and black grade options. The trails take riders through beautiful forest and open land with fantastic views over Lough Tay and the Irish Sea. Forest road climbs lead you into tight twisty singletrack with lots of fast descents, ups and downs, tight turns and technical rocky bits, guaranteed to leave you smiling!

Located in County Sligo, Coolaney boasts spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean and has more than 40km of singletrack trails.
Choose from blue grade trails which take riders through beautiful forest and heathland, red grade trails with fantastic views over the Atlantic Ocean, Strandhill and Coolaney Village or a hair-raising black grade route designed for expert lever bikers.
